Posted by Mileage Club officially started today, and the kids ran so hard! There’s still time to register your child to receive an official mileage club card so they can earn their punches. Go online to https://www.sparrowmilesclub.com/parent-registration.php to register your child so they can start as early as Wednesday!
If you’re new to Mileage Club, it’s a program sponsored by Sparrow to promote healthy communities, and it’s been a student favorite for years. The kids run around the track for any portion of recess after lunch M/W/F and earn a punch for each 1/4 mile they run. Tokens are awarded every 5 miles, and if they reach 20 total miles by the end of the program, they’ll receive a water bottle.
