Posted by The first day of school is tomorrow, and the Cornell PTO is looking for volunteers!
Every year it’s been possible, the PTO organizes a group of parents to assist the lunch staff during the Kindergarteners’ lunch. Volunteers will assist our new friends in opening food and drink containers, learning the rules of the lunchroom, and finding their way to the playground. This typically lasts a few days, just until the Kindergarteners learn the routine and don’t require as much assistance.
Every parent volunteer must first return to the office a completed background check form and a copy of the front and back of their driver’s license. Download the background check form here and return to Mrs. Darjes with license copies before signing up!
This will start at 12pm and end at 12:30pm each day. Please sign up here to let us know when you’ll be there!
