Posted by Kickstart is still days away, but we’re looking ahead to the first days of school!
We have a bunch of new Wolves starting at Cornell next week, and they all need to be taught how to eat lunch at school. PTO is organizing volunteers to help out the K teachers and lunch staff for the first weeks of school until they’ve learned the routine. **
We need a handful of people each day who can:
- Guide students to their lunch tables and seats
- Teach students how to open their lunch boxes and food wrappers
- Teach students how to get school lunch
- Remind students to stay in their seats, raise their hands, and eat their lunches
- Show students where the restrooms and drinking fountains are located
- Teach students where to put away their lunch boxes
- Guide students to the playground
**All volunteers must complete a background check before entering the school.

To enter the school to volunteer, please buzz at door 1 (main door), sign in at the office, grab a volunteer badge, and meet by the bench outside the main office. We will meet there between 11-11:05am and walk to the cafeteria together.
If you are a K parent, please consider how a second goodbye will feel for your kiddo. You are more than welcome, we want everyone to have a fantastic lunch experience!
